Energy Bliss Bites
I absolutely love making these delicious little super food packed snacks. I never follow a recipe - I just add everything into my food processor & voilà! They are easy, require no cooking, minimal dishes, versatile, & they are guilt free - BONUS!
Guilt free treats aren't a myth. Why are these guilt free? They are packed with fibre, protein, healthy fats, nutrient dense carbohydrates, super food goodness, & plant based protein. The beauty of energy bites is that they can accommodate ANY dietary restrictions. These recipes are Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Nut-Free, Soy Free, Corn Free, Raw, + Vegan.
These are handy when you're on the run, pre work out or post work out snack, craving something sweet or just need a super food fix.
I created two different recipes. Don't worry - I didn't forget about you Chocolate lovers.
Ingredients:
Approx. 14 Balls
- 14 Organic Dates (approx. 110g)
- 2 tbsp Organic Coconut Oil
- 1/2 cup Organic Oat Flour
- 1 tbsp Organic Chia Seeds
- 1 tbsp Organic Golden Flax - ground
- 3 drops of Lemon Essential Oil
- 2 tsp Organic Matcha Powder
Instructions:
First add dates & coconut oil into food processor & blend. Then add remaining ingredients. Blend until desired consistency ( I like mine fairly smooth rather than chunky. ) Place mixture into fridge for 20 minutes then roll into small balls or press into a pan to make bars.
I like storing mine in the freezer in a freezer safe container so that they last longer.
